Commercial Improvement Contracting (2020-12-17)

Commercial Improvement Contracting (Abbr: CIC) means that service which provides for repair or improvement to nonresidential property and multifamily property as defined in the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. The BLD classification also provides for this function. The CIC classification does not provide for the construction of new buildings, accessory buildings, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or gas work. CIC includes the following specialties and they are not required to be listed separately on your contractor license.

Masonry Contracting (BRK)
Painting and Wallcovering Contracting (PTC)
Roofing Contracting (ROC)

Questions - 50
Minimum Passing Score of 70%
Time Allowed - 120 Minutes
